The Second Soundsystem in Denmark

This is a soundbooth recording of the second ever held soundsystem in Denmark. It was recorded at Saltlageret on October 15, 1983 which was located on the same spot as where The Planitarium is located today.

The dance was arranged by Hans 'Countryman' Hedegaard who rented, at that time, the biggest PA speaker system ever rented in Denmark. Countryman also owned the record store Black Music at that time.

Countryman was the selector for the evening, and with him was Jr. Prince as the MC and DJ Sista Eva as well.

Today Countryman run the soundsystem DubCity in Copenhagen. The whereabouts of Jr. Prince and Sista Eva are not available.
