09.05.09 :: Danish submission for European Reggae Contest
Again this year, the European Reggae Contest will take place. The contest is, what it says - and competition to find the best og most exciting new reggae name in Europe. The rules are simply - you are not allowed to be signed to a label and the tune they submit can't be a riddim og a song that has been released officially. In other words - it must be 100% original material.
This year, Denmark will have to participants: Mystic MC and Ragga Pack.
Mystic MC is well known on the Danish reggae stage, as he has been putting out many good songs during the last 3-4 years.
Ragga Pakc is mostly know for being the backing band for the laste reggae princess Natasja aka. Little Tasha. Today with play numerous gigs through Denmark as a part of the Reggae Splash tours feating Chin, Illawy and Reggaehagen.

21.04.09 :: Rasta Got Sould Drops Today
The new studio album from Buju Banton entitled Rasta Got Soul is available through out the world today both on psysical media as well as digital downloads but the release date for Europe is set to one month from now.
However, the full album will bel be available for digital download via iTunes in the European Region, exclusively, one month before it's psysical release and digital download in the rest of the world.
20.04.09 :: Summerjam 2009: Update 7
Summerjam has indeed become more and more focused on also getting the best sound systems around for the festival. And a result of this efford, we can again see world class sounds at the festival as the German sound systems SoundQuake Sound System, Pow Pow Movement and Sentinel has confirmed - but also the world renowned Stone Love, who has been in the game for more than 35 years has confirmed.
Summerjam 2009 is the 24th annual festival in Germany and the largest in Europe of its kind. This year the festival starts on Friday 3, 2009 and ends on Sunday 5, 2009. You can already buy tickets for the festival here in Denmark via Billetnet. The price in Denmark is 635 DKK and

The Danish Firehouse Sound offspring Maffi Productions, has put up three new tunes on their myspace site - including Maffi Meets C8, Rythm Riddim and Flying High by Soom T.
