It is now reported that the Rocksteady legend Alton Ellis is struggling for his life in a hospital in England. It was actually rumored that he passed away a few days ago - but that was not true, however his condition has worsened, and he's currently on life support at the hospital.

Around a year ago, Ellis was diagnosed with lymph glands cancer, and has undergone chemo therapy treatments.

The family super-group Morgan Heritage has cancelled they European club tour which was supposed to start in November and continue into December.

Singer and keyboard player Gramps (with the characteristic low voice) has gotten medical attention due to an (to us unknown) injury, which means that he will need at least two months of recovery. They hope to be ready for they African tour, which kicks off in Sierra Leone in December.

While Morgan Heritage only will perform at small individual concerts in the caribbean - they are already planning to return to Europe in May next year for a club tour.

We wish Gramps all the best and hopefully he'll be up'n singing in no time.
