10.02.08 :: Deva Brat To Appear in Court This Tuesday
More information on deejay Deva Brat aka. Shawntae Harrisis out. He is in fact arrested and charged for Carnal Abuse - as he apparently has been involved in the rape of a 14 year old girl.
Allegedly the girl was dragged into a house by to men, and raped before she was released. Close friends of Deva Brat denies his involvement with the girl - but we'll follow the matter.
Deva Brat will appear in court on Tuesday.
10.02.08 :: Scorsese To Make Marley Documentary
After the huge success of making the Rolling Stones documentary Shine A Light Hollywood hotshot and academy award winner Martin Scorsese has gotten a green light from the Marley Estate to make a similar documentary on the late Bob Marley.
Information sofar, is that Martin Scorsese will be directing the movie, and Bob Marley's oldest son Ziggy Marley will be producing the documentary, which is scheduled to be released on February 6, 2010 - the day where Bob Marley would have turned 65.
09.02.08 :: Lutan Fyah Arrested By Spanish Town Police
The talented singjay Lutan Fyah whose real name is Andre Martin, as been arrested by the Spanish Town Police - where he's in custody.
Allegedly has was involved in a raid and burning down houses due to a conflict last year, where some men was shouting at him on stade - and made insinuations, that Fyah had been sexually involved i with an underage girl.
Lutan Fyah is to appear in Spanish Town Resident Magistrate Court on Tuesday. We will follow the case.
08.02.08 :: Deva Bratt Arrested
Deejay and Portmore Empire member Deva Brat is reportedly been arrested by the police and is now in at the facilities at the Portmore Police Station where he is imprisoned.
There are not much information on why he is arrested - but speculations are, that he is facing charges for carnal abuse. This information is neither confirmed nor unconfirmed.
However no press release has been issued on the matter.
08.02.08 :: Vybz Kartel Sues The Gleaner
Deejay Vybz Kartel along with his legal advisors are planning to sue the Jamaican newspaper The Gleaner, for showing pictures of Aidonia and him carrying massive firearms, which caused the two artists to be wanted by the socalled "Operation Kingfish" - a division of the police focusing on severer crime.
The picture was showed without explaining why and how the picture was taken - and the The Gleaner will be sued for defamation of character.
